ABW Fractal Model: C2, CISD & T-Spot Guide

ASIF BRAIN WAVES · INDICATOR GUIDE

ABW Fractal Model combines a higher-timeframe candle sequence with lower-timeframe Change in State of Delivery (CISD). Use it to study how a sweep develops into a confirmed model, then read the next interval in context.

How to Add the Indicator

  1. Open the linked TradingView publication and sign in to your TradingView account.
  2. Read the current description and release notes, then select Use on chart.
  3. Use standard candlesticks. Open the indicator settings and check the timeframe, visibility and retention controls relevant to this tool.
  4. Review historical examples before using the display in your own analysis. Chart capacity and market-data access depend on your TradingView account.

How C1 and C2 work

C1 is the completed higher-timeframe reference candle. A bullish C2 sweeps its low and closes back above that boundary with bullish model-LTF CISD. A bearish C2 mirrors this at the high. With the default full-range close requirement enabled, C2 must close inside the entire C1 range. The default double-sweep filter rejects candles sweeping both boundaries.

Confirmation is a separate event

Potential C2 is provisional and can change before the higher-timeframe close. Confirmed C2/C3 labels are anchored to the earlier extreme after confirmation becomes available. A label at an earlier candle does not mean the model was known then. VALID BUY or VALID SELL describes an active model, not an entry instruction.

Delayed C3 and C4

The immediately following HTF candle can qualify as delayed C3 when a prior sweep did not confirm as C2. It must preserve the reversal extreme, meet the chosen C2 threshold and include model-LTF CISD. C4 describes continuation context under the published rules; it is not a guarantee that price will continue.

Reading the T-Spot

The T-Spot lies between a qualifying closed HTF candle’s equilibrium and the true next HTF opening. Its box spans one HTF interval. Under TTrades public rules, an opposing-body C2 uses the midpoint between close and reversal extreme; a same-direction C2 and C3 use full-candle equilibrium. A zone touch alone is not entry confirmation.

Timeframes and settings

Automatic examples include 5m → 1H, 15m → 4H, 1H → 1D and 4H → 1W. Locked mode uses your chosen aligned pairing. Start by checking the model timeframe, direction filter, Potential C2 visibility and CISD display. A higher-bias filter can prevent new models when its conditions are not met.

A practical review exercise

On a historical chart, identify C1 first, then the swept boundary, return close and CISD. Record when confirmation became available. Review a failed model as well as a completed one. Treat the HTF candle panel in the right margin as a display of source candles, never a forecast.
