ASIF BRAIN WAVES · INDICATOR GUIDE
ABW SFO v28 helps you follow source-candle context, mapped CISD and Order Blocks. The original TradingView publication still has v21.1 in its title; the 23 October 2026 release notes identify the v28 engine.

How to Add the Indicator
- Open the linked TradingView publication and sign in to your TradingView account.
- Read the current description and release notes, then select Use on chart.
- Use standard candlesticks. Open the indicator settings and check the timeframe, visibility and retention controls relevant to this tool.

What confirms the first entry?
The first entry requires a source sweep, mapped CISD confirmation and a completed higher-timeframe candle closing back inside the source range. The qualifying sweep must be one-sided. A higher-timeframe candle sweeping both source boundaries does not confirm that source. An early box is not a completed first-entry signal.
Major and nested sources
A smaller opposite-direction setup can coexist with an active major source. It does not automatically erase that source. Source validity and eligibility for a particular entry are separate conditions. Do not read simultaneous context as a recommendation to enter both directions.
When source context ends
Each source follows its own boundary and TP2 rules. TP1 alone does not remove source context. A source ends when its relevant boundary is swept again or its own TP2 is reached. The original linked Order Block can also end when the actual associated entry reaches its protective stop.
Read the full-range Order Block
In v28 the box covers the original sweep candle’s full High–Low range, including wicks. It appears after mapped CISD confirmation, which can be before the HTF close. Its right edge stops at the first subsequent full-range retest. A stopped right edge is a display event, not proof of a profitable entry.
Colours and targets
Bullish CISD is blue by default; bearish CISD is red. The eligible candle tint stays inside its Open–Close body. Source TP1 is the midpoint. Source TP2 is the source high for BUY and source low for SELL. Check the current publication for all settings and entry conditions.
Example: preserve the major context
Suppose February sweeps January’s low and closes inside January, with the required mapped CISD. January can provide major bullish source context. A later bearish setup within that context has its own lifecycle; it does not by itself cancel January. Review the relevant January boundary and TP2 before deciding that the major source has ended.
Common interpretation mistakes
Do not treat a visible Order Block as HTF confirmation, delete major context mentally after TP1, or assume v28 signals occur at the same time and price as v21.1. The first-entry requirements changed. The USDJPY 15m image is a historical display example; its right-side HTF panel is not future price.
Before You Rely on a Chart Mark
Check when the information became available, which source timeframe it uses and whether the drawing records a historical pattern or an active state. Use the current TradingView publication as the reference for settings and release changes. None of these tools guarantees a market reaction or profitable result.
